Through this program, customers may reserve toys, such as bikes and play kitchens, early in the season and make a series of small payments over an extended period. In addition, expectant parents and their families can benefit by using layaway to purchase items such as cribs, car seats and strollers. The "Big Gift" layaway is available beginning today in Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us stores nationwide*.

Toys"R"Us will offer layaway on hundreds of items available in its stores as an extension of the company's unique value proposition – affordable fun! Whether a BMX bike, a Power Wheels® ride-on vehicle or a two-story dollhouse, gift-givers can fulfill childhood wishes and rest assured that the big items on their holiday shopping lists are available when they want them through the "Big Gift" layaway. With the best and broadest assortment of gifts to delight kids of all ages, Toys"R"Us offers layaway on the following toy categories:

• Battery-Powered Ride-On Vehicles
• Dollhouses
• Play Kitchens
• Outdoor Play Equipment and Playsets, including metal gym sets, wood gym sets, trampolines, houses, teeter-totters and climbers

Placing a product on layaway at any Toys"R"Us or Babies"R"Us store requires a deposit of 20% of the total purchase, including all applicable taxes, and a $10 service charge. Payments may be made at the store at any time in the form of cash, check, credit card, debit card or gift card. Merchandise will be made available within 7-10 days of final payment, so items must be paid for in full by December 6 to ensure that the gift is available for pickup before Christmas. A fee will apply to canceled layaway orders**.
