Friday: Grilled Honey-Lime Chicken Sandwiches

Saturday: Stir Fry

Hello everyone it's Monday Plan Monday again! Have you all started planning for week yet? If not there is still time but you need to hurry up for you can hit this stores. This week since ground beef is on sale I have incorperated it into three of my meals so I can buy a lot and cook if off some days in advance to cut down on prep time. I really suggest that you try the Brown Sugar Meatloaf because its one of my family favorites.

Well monday is here and for most people like myself we are back at work for the next few days until New Years. How did everyone's shopping go? I went out to Target and everything was so picked over that I left the store. Most people was stocking up up of Christmas decorations for next year and that was not what I was looking for.

Well today is MENU PLAN MONDAY!!!!! I though this was a great ideal to post every week because it can help you change up the normal meals you prepare for your family. If you are anything like me you look in the fridge and think wow chicken again and then you decide weather to fry it or bake it.

Monday:  Bacon Cheeseburger Upside Down Pizza

Tuesday:Cheesy Chicken Tetrazzini this can also become chiken, My fav..

Wednesday: homemade quick and easy pizza great it you want the kids to help with the toppings.

Thursday: Happy New Year!  Beef Tips very good over rice.

Friday: Brown Sugar Meatloaf this is very tasty, you will never look at meatloaf the same. 

Saturday: Angel's Chunky Chicken Salad something light to watch those figures 

Sunday: Leftover buffet

Welcome to the New Christmas edition of Menu Plan Monday! As you know I have been posting a meal a week to help you save money but after doing my research it has come to my attention that if you can plan your meals for the whole week it saves money when grocering shopping because you are not just picking up everything that look good. A new family favorite dessert in our house is White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Bars from Kraft Canada (I’m sorry if the link doesn’t work, they have been having trouble with their website).  I made this recipe twice last week and it was so easy and delicious!

A recipe we make every year, as treats for our guests and neighbors, is Peppermint Bark.  This is such a simple but festive recipe and takes no time at all to whip up a batch.  I’ve yet to mess it up and trust me that is saying alot!

So onto my menu this week:

Monday: Chicken, Spinach & Tomatoes served with spaghetti

Tuesday: Fajitas

Wednesday:Christmas Eve ~ Christmas Tree Pizzas (how fun is that!) served with birthday jello for Jesus (I wanted an easy light dessert :) )

Thursday: Christmas!

Breakfast:  Wakeup Casserole * Family Favorite *

Dinner:

Apple & Herb Roasted Turkey

We cook the turkey unstuffed so my son who is gluten free can enjoy it as well.

Acorn Squash Feta Casserole

Love it!  Can be prepared the day before.

Golden Honey Pan Rolls

One of our favorite recipes, so yummy!  I also make these up the day before.

Slow Cooked Sausage Dressing

Love that I can put it into the slow cooker and forget about it.  Just some occasional basting is all that is needed.

Golden Apple Pie

A new recipe for me but I like that it’s a little different than the usual apple pie.

Taco Pie

• 2 (9 inch) deep dish frozen pie crusts, thawed
• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 package of Taco Seasoning
• 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 cup crushed tortilla chips
• 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
• 2 cups shredded lettuce
• 1 large tomato, diced
• sour cream
• black olives
• Salt and Pepper

I made this and you will have to add more seasonings beacause it will come out bland.
